No idea of the origins of candle burning but it is used in all cultures/religions e.g. birthday candles. Its not just CB but fire in itself that is used universally.
Fire transforms so candle burning is good for changing/manifesting things. This can be anything from feelings to financial. Basically you can use CB for any purpose.
