An image of Fisherman's Dream logo.

The current galleries listed below exist for testing purposes in order to demonstrate what can be done in a real world setting. Most of the components are optional.

Gallery 1

This gallery contains four images. Movement between the images is manual and uses the arrow bars at the left and right of the image or via the buttons beneath the image.

Nice transition effect but probably limited to small numbers of image files. It doesn't give any indication of what the other images are.

Gallery 2

This gallery is very similar to Gallery 1 with the same functions but with the addition of automatically changing the image approx. every 9 seconds. It should be possible to remove the arrow bars, buttons, and image title thus leaving just the auto slideshow.

I said "possible". Similar restrictions to the first gallery.

Gallery 3

This gallery contains six images. It is a manually controlled slideshow with thumbnails of all of the images shown below the current image which when clicked will take you to that image. It has arrow bars for navigation, an image title, and image number text.

I'm not too sure that this would suit large numbers of images but the thumbnails are described as columns so it may well handle it.

Gallery 4

This gallery is manual but intends to display small images of all that are available with links to individual pages. It is like an index of what is available.

Although there is nothing fancy about this one it would suit large numbers of images. The text is optional.

The Image File Pages

I have kept these as simple as possible. The text is optional as are the Next and Return navigation buttons.

Welcome to Fisherman's Dream @ Grate Scot

Welcome to the online page for "Fisherman's Dream" which is designed to support and enhance the photographic exhibition of the same name by Ray Scoble.

At present these pages are being used in order to test what could be done in the way of presenting the exhibition online, to provide supplementary information for the exhibition, and providing advertising.

These pages provide a testing area and as such are constantly being updated and are in a state of flux.

No, I'm pretty sure he said "flux".
